TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Overflow Roofing will perform the work in quotations in a professional manner and in accordance with the plans and specifications provided by the client.

2. All materials supplied by Overflow Roofing will be suitable for the purpose for which they will be used and unless otherwise stated in the quotation, those materials will be new.

3. The work will be done with due diligence and within a reasonable time:
a) Overflow Roofing will endeavour to meet our client’s schedules, however, lead times should be checked with us prior to signing a contract.
b) Overflow Roofing will not delay other scheduled jobs where short notice start dates are given. Industry wide material shortages and supply chain issues may affect the scheduled start date, Overflow Roofing is not liable for any cost incurred by our clients that results from this.

4. Overflow Roofing Contractors may not do additional work other than the approved quotation unless instructed by its Director and only then in accordance with an additional written and duly accepted quotation amendment or variation to the original quote.
5. Our Guarantee:
a) All New Work* is Guaranteed for 10 Years and all Repairs** are Guaranteed for 1 year, unless otherwise stated on the quotation. (The Guarantee is in force once the work has been completed).
b) If our work should fail for any reason within that time, we guarantee to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible – without charge.
c) In the event that Overflow Roofing is called out to resolve a Guarantee issue that turns out to be due to a cause unrelated to our work, or damage has been caused by people other than Overflow Roofing Contractors, a call-out charge of $300.00 (inc. GST) will be due.
d) Overflow Roofing reserves the right to return monies received for works done instead of resolving the issue, if the resolution works are deemed un-viable by Overflow Roofing's Director.

6. Overflow Roofing reserves the right to withdraw from a contract prior to commencement of works. Any deposit monies received by Overflow Roofing from the client shall be refunded.

7. Payment Terms: Unless Otherwise agreed upon in writing by all parties, full payment is due and payable at the completion of works. For works valued over $5000 (incl GST), a 10% deposit is payable upon acceptance of the quotation, for works over $10,000 a further 50% payment is due and payable upon delivery of materials and the balance is due and payable at the completion of works.
8. Insurance: Overflow Roofing do not insure the works for loss or damage at the site caused by the client or external factors. Overflow Roofing is insured for Public Liability up to $10 Million; Workers Compensation Insurance and Motor Vehicle Insurance policies can be provided upon request. Projects over $20,000 in value will be invoiced in installments of $10,000 and Payment Terms will be as noted above.

9. Scaffolding/Fall Arrest Systems: If needed we provide a safe working scaolding or edge protection when working at heights over 2000mm. The scaffold would need to provide safe and workable access to all the roofing areas that ensure our workers can work in a safe manner at all times.

Quotations
The following conditions of quotation are deemed to be a part of any subcontract or orders issued to Overflow Roofing and any subcontract order based on a Overflow Roofing quotation shall imply acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
10. Pricing: All supply and install quotations are valid for 30 days from the quotation date, after which price conformation should be obtained.

11. Retention: All quotations are submitted on the basis that there is no retention held.

12. Site Specific Requirements: Our quotation is based on the Client/Builder providing the following (unless stated otherwis
a) Supply of 240-volt power within reasonable distance of the work zones.
b) Access for all necessary cranes, work vehicles and scaffold access tower.
c) Vaulted ceilings, if present, power will need to be off during the reroof of this section, if a power generator is required for your appliances, we can supply this at extra cost.
d) Overflow Roofing may place signboards on site for the duration of works.

13. Council Fees: Standard council application fees will be covered by Overflow Roofing. Extra costs will be charged to the client if councils request additional documentation, levies or bonds, including but not limited to Verge Deposit Bonds (refundable via council) or Bush Fire Reports.

14. Structure: All roof and wall structures to which our products are to be fixed must be straight, plumb and level in horizontal and vertical axes. A common issue with tile roofs is sagging of the rafters due to the weight of tiles, if this requires fixing a variation charge will be incurred as mentioned above.

15. Warranty: Overflow Roofing will pass on the material manufacturer’s warranties for all products. Please note that we are limited by their criteria for material warranty, e.g. projects close to marine elements or industrial elements may reduce the warranty offered and in some cases may not be offered at all, this can depend on the material being used and distance to marine and industrial elements, we advise to check this in advance at planning stages and when the scope of works is drafted.

*New Work is defined as: An entire roof is installed or replaced.
**Repairs are defined as: Any works carried out to resolve a specific problem with a roof or guttering system. Maintenance and replacing components of a roof (such as flashings or tiles) are classified as repairs.
